What "turnkey" means here
Hiring a foreign worker involves several stages, and any one of them can stall the entire process — finding the right candidate abroad, securing a work permit, obtaining a category D visa, arranging entry, and getting the person settled at your site. "Turnkey" means we take on all of these stages as a single managed process, rather than handing you a list of disconnected tasks to sort out on your own.
Where we source candidates
We work primarily with candidates from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka — countries with a large pool of people ready for legal employment abroad in frontline and skilled-labor roles. That focus lets us maintain an up-to-date candidate database and stay current on the specific documentation requirements for each of these countries of origin, rather than applying a generic process to any location in the world.
Legalization: work permit and the D visa
The legal side of the process covers obtaining a Ukrainian work permit and a category D entry visa — both are covered in detail on the Work Permit and Work Visa D pages. As part of the turnkey service, we run both processes in parallel so the candidate isn't left waiting on one document while the other sits unfinished.
How workers actually reach Ukraine
There's a practical routing question worth addressing directly. Because Ukraine's civilian airspace has been closed since 2022, a direct flight isn't an option, and entry is arranged overland through a neighboring country — most often Moldova. For this leg we arrange a transit e-visa — see Moldova Transit e-Visa for details — and manage the route from the arrival airport to the Ukrainian border.
Getting settled after arrival
Arrival doesn't close out the process — a worker still needs to get settled on-site: housing, registration, an introduction to the workplace and the team. We stay involved through this stage with the same level of attention we bring to legalization, since the first few weeks on the ground often determine whether a worker stays long-term or grows disillusioned with the move.
What comes after deployment
A turnkey hire closes out the one-time task of bringing a team on board, but workers' documents have a limited validity period and require renewal. Ongoing support after that point — deadline tracking, permit renewals, HR recordkeeping — is covered under Migration & HR Support, a natural next step once the team is on-site and working.
